Pablo: the key to achieve my goals

Today Radio Intense had an opportunity to talk to another talented artist. We are happy to present you Pablo Say!

Pablo Say's music reflects his mind set as an artist: a wide style, with no boundaries, that currently spins around underground sounds, close to techno. As DJ, Pablo has left his mark in clubs as Barcelona's elrow, Privilege and Sankeys in Ibiza, London's Lightbox, Mono Bar in Moscow, beside important performances in Hungary, Bulgary and, most recently, in electronic music strongholds as Chicago, demonstrating that he's also a master behind the decks.

Pablo also managed to release his productions in record labels as elrow Music ('Digital Mind'), Deeperfect ('Marim'), Mark Knight's Toolroom ('Party Time') or Markantonio's Analitic Trail ('Harmonic Chimes') and many more.

We talked to the talent about his path in the industry, new release "Right Now" on Codex and other projects. Read it now!
— Hello Pablo! How are you doing? Thanks for having time for Radio Intense!
— I am very well, thank you very much for the invitation to this interview.
— You are born and based in Spain. What can you tell about the industry over there?
— Well I always see that we have more passion for electronic music and it would have a very good growth if it wasn't for this pandemic hehehehehe, I hope that soon we will have a better situation.
— Let's talk about your early years. How did you become interested in the electronic music scene? What is the story of "Pablo Say"?
— When I was 16 years old I started to listen to electronic music in clubs and that's when I bought my first turntables where every Friday I went to my city (Valencia) to spend the afternoon buying vinyls in the store. Later I went to clubs in my city and I also started to work hard with productions in "Ableton Live". Around 2010 I started my trips to Ibiza where I had the opportunity to play at "Sankeys", "Privillege" and "Bora Bora".

I also had the opportunity to see artists such as Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, Nicole Moudaber, Elio Riso... playing my productions in Ibiza.
— Your new release "Right Now" will be out soon on Codex. What can you tell about the release?
— Well, the next release "Right Now" is about some familiar vocals where an atmosphere is created, a powerful tension and where it has a pretty powerful punch with a hard kick without losing the line of Codex. And labyrinth also follows a hard line with some techno synths and a voice Underground answering to those synths.
— It is not your first collaboration with Codex. What do you like about the label?
— I like the professionalism and treatment of Spartaque, for me it is an example to follow for all the good work he is doing, I like the whole process you are doing with the promotion on Spotify, Instagram, Radio Intense.... I am surprised and delighted to see the growth you are achieving and I like everything and it is a pleasure to be part of this family.
— You're constantly producing. What is your recipe of success of staying so productive?
— Well, at the beginning of the year I decided to create discipline, work my body in the gym, reading a lot of books and having a good diet is being the key to stay positive and have a lot of energy to achieve my goals.

The ear is like a muscle that needs to be trained and developed, that's why, before I start producing, I like to listen to music carefully.
— Do you have any other projects coming up soon?
— I am playing monthly at "Miniclub Valencia" and we are waiting for the situation to improve in Spain to start new projects. Also in terms of productions I have several releases that will be released in the coming months and we are looking for good locations to continue with live streaming.
