Alar & Korolova: we are satisfied by our common work

Today Radio Intense is very happy to welcome talented and charismatic artists: Alar & Korolova.

We had a pleasure to talk with rising stars about their early years in the industry, Ukrainian and Russian scene, their mutual release together with famous Russian singer Vlad Sokolovskiy "Like a Fire" and summer plans.

Dig it in right now!
— Hello guys! How are you today? Thanks for having time for us.
— Korolova: Hi guys! Everything is perfect. We are waiting with excitement for release on Area Verde. Thanks for invitation. Our pleasure.

— Alar: Hi, all is fine…We are happy having upcoming release on Area Verde. Can't wait the world to see our new track.
— How did you become interested in electronic music?
— Korolova: My love for electro music took place long ago in 2005. Before that I listened to British Rock. But when I heard remix of Gabriel&Dresden on Way Out West I understood, that this is my music.

— Alar: The story begins in Saint Petersburg when I was 16. I visited legendary Red Club where they brought such artists like Solomun, Stephan Bodzin, Oliver Huntsma and Oliver Koletzki during thy times…While listening to such artists I couldn't but fall in love with electro music. It was love from the first sight.
— How would you define your sound?
— Korolova: Deep and Intense

— Alar: I like many different styles of music, but most of all I prefer to mix Indie, Progressive and ethno. And of course beautiful vocal is a soul of each track that makes mood and massage of track.
— Olga, can you say that life in Ukraine influenced on your professional growth? If so, how? Oleksandr, the same question to you about Russia.
— Korolova: In Ukraine electronic music is quite popular, but I always looked at foreign market and followed their trends. As a result 90% of my performances take place abroad.

— Alar: I used to live on Bali for 3 years and my new project Alar was created exactly there. When back to CIS I was already known and that's why I was invited to tour. Such way every summer I toured there. But I should say that musical culture in Russia is weaker that in Ukraine. Though it is stronger than in Asia or on Bali.
— Your new mutual release "Like a Fire" will be out soon on Area Verde. What is special about this track? Which reaction do expect from the audience?
— Korolova: We can't wait to see this release. We have been waiting for it more that 3 month. And now we are on a finish line. Audience always meets this track warmly. Because it is very dynamic and vocal by Vlad Sokolovskii(VS20) made it even better. We are satisfied by our common work. Hope this track will be loved by audience.

— Alar: This track charges people with positive. When I play it, I can see how people smile and fly away dancing. The vocal was recorded by our friend Vlad Sokolovskii. He is famous pop singer. But his new project Amplua VS20 showed me his new side. He is fond of electro music and I think Vlad has big future in this style…
— How is it going in terms of gigs? Do you have any interesting performances planned this summer?
— Korolova: Seems to me this summer is a busiest summer with shows ever. All weekends are booked off by the end of September. Same as midweeks also booked with shows. So many new countries for me and I can't wait to see them. Every show is special for me. With a great excitement I wait for my debut at one of the best clubs of the world Guaba Beach Bar on Cyprus.

— Alar: Yes, this summer I have many shows at festivals and clubs. Every weekend I fly to places where people know me and wait for me. That makes me happy cause culture develops very fast.
— Finally, do you have any new projects coming up soon?
— Korolova: We plan many releases soon, remixes and original tracks. We want to much to present them. Many announcements coming soon.
Thanks for the interview. Was glad to talk to you.

— Alar: Our new project Alar & Korolova that we are working on nowadays.
